Apis Dorsata or Giant Honey Bee on a Mat

GIANT HONEY BEE

 

Apis Dorsata is a giant honey bee of South and Southeast Asia. It is mainly founded in forested areas such as the Terai of Nepal. These Honey Bee are typically around 17 to 20 mm in long. This giant honey bee built nests are mainly in exposed places far of the ground.
